Please note that the
Lower School Prizegiving (7th July) will now start at 6.30pm and not 7.00pm as
stated in the calendar.
The School Shop: Opening hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
10am to 4.30pm. Tuesday from 8am to 10am. For further details click

A Musical Triumph
Eighty pupils from the prep and senior school gave magnificent performances at the concert celebrating Abraham Colfe’s induction as Vicar of Lewisham 400 years ago. A harp solo from Lia and a trumpet solo from Olivier (both ex-prep school pupils!) were interspersed between items from the Prep Choir and St.Mary’s Church Choir. Read more...
Colfe's CCF Annual Parade
Colfe's CCF had its annual parade and biennial inspection on Saturday 4th July. The inspection was carried out by Wing Commander Chalklin. The boys and girls were also given the opportunity to fly in a Lynx from 671 Sqn Air Corps crewed by Old Colfeian Captain Jay Cherry brother of Colfe's CCF commander Major Chris Cherry. Read more...
Summer Concert
Yet again, a very successful Summer Concert took place on Tuesday 29th June. This was to be the new Director of Music, Miss Katie Collinson’s first concert. The concert began with a performance of The Gypsy’s Violin, which was a joint collaboration between the Prep and Senior string players. Read more...
PAFA Summer Ball
The annual PAFA summer ball was, once again, a resounding success, and our thanks go to Dawn, Liz and all the other helpers who worked so hard on this event. Read more...
Kent County Netball
Colfes was well represented at this year's Kent County netball trials. Girls from schools all over Kent spent an intense day being scrutinised by Kent county coaches for a spot on the U14 squad. Having won the U12 Kent tournament, 7 members of the U12 team had been invited to trial. Read more...
Year 5 Mathematics Master Class
Tuesday the 22nd June saw the musical recital hall turned into a mathematics class room when thirty-two pupils from local junior schools participated in the Year 5 Mathematics Master Class. Each school sent along their very best mathematicians to enjoy a morning of mathematical games and problem solving. Read more...

Welcome to Colfes
First-time visitors to Colfe's often comment on two things: the open and spacious nature of the
site, and the happy, friendly atmosphere. Pastoral care is a key strength. As one parent said:
'Colfe's is interested in people, not just exam results' so whilst our academic reputation is
vitally important to us, so is the well-being of each and every child. In recent years we have seen
a welcome surge in academic achievement, notably at A level. We intend to ensure this trend
continues, whilst maintaining our outstanding reputation in the wider curriculum, which includes
sport, music, drama and outdoor pursuits.
